The reading for Tuesday, December 13th is Luke 8.
Scripture:
Luke 8.16 "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light."
Observation:
After receiving God's gift of salvation, we are to go and tell others about Jesus Christ.
Application:
I find myself reading the Bible and doing studies to learn more about God and His plan for me. Yet, I don't share what I learn. I need to share how God is working in my life with others. This means I have to get out of my little "bubble" and and find other believers to do 'life' with.
Prayer:
Father... thank you for showing me that I need other believers in my life to learn from and be accountable. Give me the strength to go out and share with others how you have forgiven and healed me.
Blessings,
Ellen
Beautiful reminder that the gift He gave is always to be shared through our lifestyle, loving one another, testifying about His goodness, and praying with one another!
