Scripture Sunday

"Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails."

~  1 Corinthians 13.4-8a (NIV)

  1. This has always been one of my favorite reads. I turn to it often, especially in a relationship.

  4. I love this verse, and the photo is wonderful! Found you on the Monday blog hop, am your newest follower. Hope to see you at Dropped Stitches!

  5. How sweet. We just had a Sunday school lesson on this for preschoolers, we are lapbooking Love.

  6. I love those verses, although I regularly fail to live up to them. I do a little self-test by inserting my name into the verses where it says "Love" to see how I'm doing. God has convicted me through that numerous times!

  7. Love the verse and the fun presentation! Have a great day. :)

  8. I love this verse....I have the Love is patient, kind, does not envy, does not not proud, etc...sitting RIGHT ABOVE my computer. I need to have it plastered in my brain!!!

Thanks for linking it with Mustard Seed Planting at

  9. Great verse! If only the world had a little more love :)

  10. Great picture, and a great verse! Blessings!!

  11. 5ennie... I had been meditating through different verses on love. My dear daughter just happened to be "bored" and had fun with a sharpie marker and her camera. Only God could have planned this!

  12. I love this picture. :) The scripture that stays in my heart is Psalm 46:10. I might need to do this with that scripture. :)
