These are a few pictures of the devastating tornado and damage from Ringgold, GA (April 27, 2011). My parents live 1/2 mile away from where the tornado touched down. I give thanks to God for their protection and continue to pray for those who lost loved ones, homes, and possessions.
My friends' home was in the path of the tornado. They are fine but will have numerous home repairs including a new roof, ceilings, etc. My husband and son spent the day working on the roof while other unknown volunteers cut-up the trees which were tossed here and there on their property. Pictures to come.
Eight people are dead after severe weather rocked Catoosa County on Wednesday evening. Rescue crews were searching several heavily-damaged businesses for survivors, and witnesses reported seeing a tornado touch down in the area.

Please be in prayer for all the families who were affected by the storms which ravaged so much of the southeast United States.
P.S. We were without power for 20 hours and had no damage. During the 3rd wave of storms, we could see "green" in the sky indicative of a tornado. Also, we watched debris fall from the sky including shingles, insulation, and vents.
