Wow! The first week of 3 In 30 has already come to an end!
How did you do? Did you accomplish all you had hoped and planned to? If not, what held you up? Do you have any encouraging words for the others who are joining in?

Goals and Accomplishments: Week One
1. Drink 3 - 16 ounce glasses of water each day. YES
2. Lose 5 pounds this month... shouldn't this coincide with the water, yes?!?!
NO (SIGH... I didn't go up either)
NO (SIGH... I didn't go up either)
3. Update our computer checkbook every week. YES
Well, 2 out of 3 isn't too bad. I guess I need to start moving even more!
To myself and everyone else, habits don't begin and/or change overnight. Through Patience and Perseverance, we can and will make the positive changes we desire.
We are going to have a weekly link-up. Nothing fancy, nothing required other than us hearing from you. The link-up will go live at 9pm CST on Thursday nights.

ReplyDeleteOver from 3 in 30 - good job on making your goals! Don't be too hard on yourself - it's really hard to meet a specific weight goal in such a short period of time. You're doing great!

I've found that when I first start drinking lots of water my weight actually goes up. It takes time for the weight to start to come off, so don't fret. You can do it!

ReplyDeleteJust a gentle suggestion about the 5 lbs. thing: you know that's not normal, right? Most people lose that much the first week if they're lucky and then, it drops to 1-3lbs. a week.
ReplyDeletePlus, it is something you have very little control over. The eating, exercise and water drinking you have much more control over.
The results? Not so much! Oy, I remember from dieting :).
