A fellow blogger, Janiera Eldridge at This is From My Heart, has pulled together many ways to have fun without breaking the bank. If you are like me, you have been stretching your dollars just to make ends meet. And, with 3 teenagers, I'm always searching to find great entertainment and dining deals we all can enjoy.
In Having Fun while Saving Money, Janiera not only shares "21-century" ways to entertain for less using social media, ebooks, and downloadable music, but she also reminds us to enjoy the simple pleasures of years past. When was the last time you had a game night? or a movie night? How about a 'girls night in' baking cookies with your closest friends?
The last chapter includes four reward programs which she has tested herself. One of the programs is Swagbucks which my family uses to earn Amazon gift cards! The book closes with links to the different websites discussed in the book.
This is a quick read with many wonderful ideas for entertaining and dining out frugally.... while having fun at the same time! Although there are some grammar issues in the writing, they do not hinder the information being shared.
